In October I moved a bunch of printers and got hurt bad in the lower back, it was a condition I already had but its now moderate to severe nerve pinching to the right leg. I wasted january and feb. in therapy then ended up getting an injection last thursday. I feel OK now it wants to knot up but its better than it has been in months. I get the follow up injection on the 30th. I feel like I am starting to be myself again.

Yeah I dealt with a herniated disk two years ago. Back problems make you so irritable and it keeps you from doing the shit you want to do.
Sorry I haven't been on much either. I've been so busy lately. I've been going to the gym every day, rehearsing 5 days a week with 3 different bands, and going to AA meetings 5 to 6 nights a week. I also got 10 new tattoos from a friends of mine. My right arm is 75% sleeved now

Glad you're feeling better, SM. I know a few people who complain about having bad backs and it seems as though it really sucks. You might want to consider breast reduction if it keeps up. I hear that can help. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Back problems are like being partially parapeligic, except with pain and feeling. You can't walk right or lift anything. When I had my back problems I felt like I was 70 years old and thought I was basically finished. It's kind of scary because it destroys your overall mobility and core strength

I am getting another shot Wednesday, if it makes an improvement I will get a third, if not I will need major surgery. Wish me luck!

Last time I got a needle was when I went to give blood and I was practically passing out in the waiting room. I hate needles. Not so much the actual needles themselves, but the thought of them and the anticipation leading up to it.

Last time I got a needle was when I went to give blood and I was practically passing out in the waiting room. I hate needles. Not so much the actual needles themselves, but the thought of them and the anticipation leading up to it. FAG! About 10 months ago this shitty nurse was taking blood from me and she didn't get it in the vein and just kept moving the needle around. I can deal with blood work but my pet peeve is the needle going into the vein. Once it's in I can relax and breathe until it's done. When she spent about 40 seconds moving the needle around inside me skin trying to get the vein, I finally shouted out, ok I'm going to fucking faint! So I lay down and then she switches arms and stab the shit out of that arm to make sure she got the vein that time. I looked like a got hit with softballs in my arms the next day. That nurse got her degree out of a fucking crackerjack box I got shots and used to get physical therapy SM and I can tell you, a lot of times you're in more pain after treatment. You're actually getting better but it sure as hell doesn't feel like it. The one thing with back problems that you can't go wrong with, as long as your back doesn't have actual broken bones, is muscle therapy. There's been statistical proof that the best possible recovery for back problems is muscle therapy. Stretching, massaging, etc... Then you can start doing very light strength training exercises when you're ready. Two years ago I thought I was never going to walk right again. Now I'm leg pressing 920lbs for 3 sets of 8 reps in the gym and running for 20 - 30 minutes on the treadmill after all my workouts. You can definitely get better. I thought I was fucked
