My favourite goal of all time is this:
Yordan Letchkov scoring a diving header for Bulgaria against Germany in the World Cup in the U.S. in 1994. It is a good goal but what made it memorable was watching it with my dad one night and the whole night he was furiously rooting against the Germans, naturally being ten years old I went along with it. When Letchkov soared through the air and sent that bullet into the net, the roof came off our house. I often talked about that goal after it too and tried to copy it when I was playing around with my friends. Never mind Maradona vs England, Gemmill vs Holland or Carlos Alberto vs Italy. Letchkov vs Germany is my favourite goal ever.

Bobby Lashley's fight last weekend. Where he lost by Submission to strikes.

I thought the fight got stopped because he just had a bad gash
Here's a good soccer goal.
One thing about soccer. I'm not into it but being one of the players seems like an intense rush, especially when you actually score the goal and the crowd goes that insane over it

I thought the fight got stopped because he just had a bad gash Did you watch that show Champ? If you did, you know, the announcers sucked so hard. One guy was saying one thing and Frank Shamrock was saying another. I have a good grasp of whats going on in a MMA fight but those announcers were fucking clueless and actually just confused me. The fight was stopped when Lashley was getting his face smashed in, I don't think the cut played a factor in it.

I've yet to see Lashley getting destroyed but I have to see it.
I know you guys aren't big boxing fans, but one of my favourite boxing matches is Marvin Hagler vs Thomas Hearns from 1985. It is simply known as "The War".

I've yet to see Lashley getting destroyed but I have to see it. Skip the first 3 minutes of the fight then. After that its Lashley smashing time.

I don't know if theres a free link. Frank Shamrock's retardation get hilarious at points though. Tell us how Bobby is a former WWE Champ and how the other guy should watch out. Not sarcastically either, but like he meant it.

I watched the Lashley fight. Isn't there a rule in MMA against striking to the back of the head? That guy was nailing Lashley with plenty.

lol @ Champ's clip.
This is my favourite goal of all time. I'm not very good at football, but I can wallop one in from thirty yards or connect on a volley every so often. On the other hand, I could try to do this a thousand times and look like an NXT Season 2 Finale every time. And he did it in the last minute of a World Cup Quarter-Final.
Also, the commentator is awesome.

Bergkamp was a great player. That goal against Argentina was probably my favourite of his too. I did enjoy this goal against Newcastle
but I'm still not convinced he meant to do what he did with that first touch past the defender.
Also from the 1994 World Cup, this guy is one of my favourite goalkeepers. He was like the Rey Mysterio of goalies, just not as annoying as Rey.

oh hey, I've got a new favourite sporting moment. Skip to 3:00 (this clip might be down by the time you click on it): YEAH! THEY SCORED IN THE 97TH MINUTE TO WIN THE GAME! THE COACHING STAFF HUG EACH OTHER IN DELIGHT! THE CROWD IS GOING CRAZY! THEY'VE JUST BEATEN THE MIGHTY Liechtenstein. ![](http://img715.imageshack.us/img715/4913/kapliechtenstein.gif) That is the funniest damn thing I've seen in ages (excluding NXT Season 2 Finale). Going apeshit over beating Liechtenstein. Do you Scots have no shame?

There were more people in our stadium than there are in the entire country of Liechtenstein, lol. It wasn't so much elation at achieving such a huge feat, it was simply relief. Our whole campaign would have been as good as over if we hadn't have heroically overcame the odds and beat Liechtenstein.

Next week on Smackdown Drew McIntyre should take 10 minutes to beat a local talent, and then run round the ring in delight, with ticker tape falling from the roof, and then the whole locker-room comes out to applaud him and hoist him up onto their shoulders.
